What’s new, though, is the Brembo front radial master-cylinder. Like the previous model, Brembo M4.32 monobloc calipers anchor the bike. On the standard model, you get a 43mm Marzocchi USD fork/Sachs monoshock setup whereas the S model gets highly sophisticated Ohlins suspension. The rider aids include three rider modes (Urban, Touring, and Sport), traction control, wheelie control and ABS, all of which are IMU-assisted. A six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch and bi-directional quickshifter is standard on both trims.
It continues to be powered by the 937cc Testastretta L-twin motor that makes 110PS at 9500rpm and 93Nm at 6500rpm. Also, the engine hasn’t lost any performance, and the electronic suite is aided by a Bosch six-axis IMU. Yes, the 2021 model gets a new look that’s inspired from the Panigale siblings, with improved aero efficiency.
The price bump is quite significant, especially considering that the changes to the bike aren’t very comprehensive. The S trim costs Rs 15.49 lakh, and for Rs 20,000 more, you can get the S model in the Arctic White Silk shade. The Ducati SuperSport 950 goes on sale in India at Rs 13.49 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
